How to use an Aja Corvid 88 card as Vahana VR input/output

This tutorial supposes that you have already installed the drivers and your Aja firmware is up to date.

Aja corvid 88 single link input

Workflow :

  • Make sure all your SDI inputs cables are connected to your Aja card
  • In Vahana VR create new Aja inputs in 1920*1080 @ 59.94fps
  • Select the card input ports on which your SDI inputs cables are connected

Aja corvid 88 quad link input

Workflow :

  • Make sure all your SDI inputs cables are connected to your Aja card
  • In Vahana VR create new Aja inputs in 3840*2160 @ 30fps
  • Select the first input port on which your SDI inputs are connected (eg port 1 if you are connected to ports 1-4 for your quad link input)

Aja Corvid 88 single link output

Workflow :

  • Make sure your SDI output cable is connected to your Aja card
  • In Vahana VR, make sure the panorama size is set to 1920*960
  • Create a new Aja output in 1920*1080 @ 30fps
  • Select the card output port on which your SDI output cable is connected
  • Activate the SDI output

Aja Corvid 88 quad link output

Workflow :

  • Make sure all your SDI outputs cables are connected to your Aja card
  • In Vahana VR, set the panorama size is set to 3840*1920
  • Create a new Aja output in 3840*2160 @ 30fps
  • Select the first card output port on which your SDI output cables are connected (eg port 1 if you are connected to ports 1-4 for your quad link output)
  • Activate the SDI output
